Today I want to share some ways that you can integrate Google into your business, and no, I am not talking about search, or placing or posting ads (AdSense and AdWords) even though those are great, but best left to another day. Instead, consider using some of Google’s lesser-known, but equally powerful, features.

Obama urges Congress to approve incentives for small businesses

Small business will be the road to recovery.

The president urged Congress to enact a package of tax incentives and loan programs that his adminstration already has proposed to enhance the business climate during the recession. Y0u can read all the details of the president's initiatives here.

"This shouldn't be a partisan issue. This shouldn't be an issue of big government versus small government," said Obama. " This is an issue of putting our government on the side of the small business owners who create most of the jobs in this country."

Among the more than 200 people in the Rose Garden for the celebration was Stella Penizotto, winner of New York State's small business person of the year award. When she founded Shining Stars Daycare in Syracuse, Penizotto said she had six pint-sized clients. Today, she operates three day care centers, serving more than 360 children and employing 78 people.

Private pay shrinks to historic lows as gov't payouts rise

Maybe a good time to start your own business.

Paychecks from private business shrank to their smallest share of personal income in U.S. history during the first quarter of this year, a USA TODAY analysis of government data finds.

At the same time, government-provided benefits — from Social Security, unemployment insurance, food stamps and other programs — rose to a record high during the first three months of 2010.
